Welcome to Willow Tree Upcycles, my name is Laura and my passion is transforming pre loved furniture along with creating unique handcrafted gifts.
I have a beautiful family which have supported me since the start, up until June 2023 I worked 11 years at our local Nissan dealership and have been in the motor trade since I left school. I found my dream job upcycling and creating gifts as it gives me the greatest sense of achievement carrying out transformations for customers and items for sale.
In 2021 I unfortunately lost my dad unexpectedly and with the pandemic I decided I needed to have a little space to breath and do something that I enjoyed, this is how Willow Tree Upcycles started. I started off doing friends and family pieces then friends of friends, until I decided to do a fun unique console table to sell, this is when a lovely lady (who is now a very good friend) came along bought my upcycled console table and asked if I had a social media page that she could follow... with her kind words and the support of my family I decided why not! lets set up a page... my little side hobby started to grow and grow until something had to give, so me and my fiancé decided it was time to take the leap and go for it... so here I am.
Along with Jamie I've created this website so people can see what Willow Tree Upcycles is all about, not only do I love to upcycle furniture for customer's (commissions) and piece's I've sourced to upcycle, once completed to be on sale to find there forever home. I also love to create unique handcrafted gifts, decoupaged slate coaster's, slate wall hangers, vases, light up bottles and custom lamp shades which make the perfect gifts or a lovely little treat just for you.
